Distance Learning Update

As some of you are aware, on Tuesday, our MVUSD Board voted to remain in a full distance learning model until January 25, 2021. Distance Learning Attendance

Parents, as always school attendance is very important and now more than ever students attending their virtual synchronous instruction with Zoom is paramount. Please encourage your child to attend all scheduled daily virtual instructional sessions and complete assignments in Google Classroom. We will be addressing attendance in our October 23, 2020, virtual ELAC meeting and October 16, 2020, virtual Coffee Chat with Principal meetings.

Armada Attendance Webpage:

Technology Resources * Updating Chromebooks & Clearing the History

Two measures that have been taken to troubleshoot inaccessibility to synchronous instruction is to clear the history of Chromebooks and update them to the newest version of Google Chrome's Operating System.

Clearing the history of a Chromebook works very similarly to clearing the pages of a cell phone. Having too many pages open on a cell phone affects the processing and functionality of a phone. Similarly, a Chromebook needs to be cleared of its history often. Otherwise, it starts affecting all programs and especially, entry into zoom.

Updating the Chromebook is crucial because it will start to cause issues for students.

College Week!

Thank you to all our students participating in our College Week October 7-14, 2020 and for sending us your photos! Check out our social media accounts for the Armada College Week activities held.

🎉Congratulations to Asahel E., our MVUSD S.T.A.R. Award Recipient of the week!🌟🏅

From Ms. D.Vallejo: “Asahel improved in asynchronous engagement. He has become more responsible with his assignments this week. He worked hard to complete missing assignments.”
