Leslie Knope

the next Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States

Why She's Qualified

Leslie Knope is from the small town of Pawnee, Indiana. She revolutionized the Parks and Recreation Department there before entering the federal government, where she served faithfully and enthusiastically before being appointed to the S.C.O.T.U.S. Leslie is incredibly fair and unbiased in her opinions, and believes that there is always more to a situation than what is presented up front. As a result, she has the guts to ask the tough questions and get to the heart of a case when it reaches the Supreme Court.

Leslie's Judicial Philosophy

Political Views

Leslie is a moderate Democrat, and believes that the money the government generates from taxation and other revenue sources should be used for a variety of programs that benefit the people, such as the parks programs she worked with before joining the federal government.

How She Makes Decisions

Leslie's moderate views allow her to be one of the swing votes on the Supreme Court. She votes Democrat more often than not, but has been known to vote Republican on some social issues like abortion and gun control. She really makes an effort to hear the specifics of a case with an open mind before she lets her preconceived notions, ideas, and impressions come into play. It is this sort of open-minded thinking that makes Leslie Knope an excellent addition to and an important member of the Supreme Court of the United States.
