Principal's Message

Happy New Year Beardsley Bears!

As I reflect back to the day we opened our doors in August to now, I see so much for us to celebrate. We have welcomed our students back into a school learning environment where they are able to interact with one another to develop thinking skills, problem-solve collaboratively, and build friendships. This is what middle school is about. Students have had opportunities for inquiry-based learning, developing arguments supported by solid research, and honing basic skills. I couldn't be more proud of the efforts everyone is making to ensure that our kids at HBMS are able to move forward in their learning.

Resilience in the face of adversity is also what we are all learning. With Covid positive cases rising and the mitigation measures and protocols to be followed, it isn't easy to stay positive sometimes. It is important for us to keep the focus on safety as well as teaching and learning. So I want to say THANK YOU to all who have contributed to ensuring that our resilience is strong and our school remains a wonderful place to be each day. Stay positive!

Happy New Year!

Mrs. Alberth

New Year- New Supplies!

New Year- New Supplies!

As we start 2022 please do an inventory of the supplies your students need. We are seeing many students without earbuds. Please make sure your student has these as they are necessary for many Chromebook activities in the classrooms.

Additionally, please send your student to school with properly fitting masks and a water bottle. Masks are worn 100% of the time while in the building and we still have the water fountains shut down. Water bottle filling stations are available though.

If a student needs supplies and you are unable to provide them, please let us know and we will work with you to get the necessary items with the help of our community and church partners.

Thanks for your help.
