Message from Dr. David Sharp

Greetings, Husky Families!

It’s hard to believe we’ll wrap up nearly six weeks of school soon! I am proud of our scholars and continually amazed by their passion for learning, engagement, and enthusiasm as my team and I visit our classrooms. I would like to thank you for your unparalleled commitment and support of our Blue Valley Northwest learning community. Without you, none of our success would be possible!

Please see the information below relative to our upcoming PTCs. Parent Teacher Conferences are essential for our teachers to learn about their students from families and provide feedback about academic performance. We are excited to work together to deepen family engagement, partner for teaching and learning, and develop a shared understanding of the steps for our scholars to make academic progress.

Next week will be busy as we celebrate homecoming at BVNW! I know our students and staff are excited to begin the weeklong celebration. Finally, this week, we handed out honor roll certificates to our scholars from the spring 2023 semester in ELA classes. The two honor roll criteria are the Principal's Honor Roll (requires a 4.00 or better on either scale) and Honor Roll (requires a 3.00-3.99 grade point average on both scales). Congratulations to our scholars for their hard work and dedication to their learning.

Your Partner in Education,

David
