The following week will be spent discovering PUMPKINS! Donations of any size, color, shape and texture pumpkins (or gourds) will be welcomed! Thank you!

What we are learning and doing

This week we have extended our study of friends and family to include community helpers—police officers, fire-fighters, doctors, teachers, postal workers, and much more. We are talking about their roles in the neighborhood and in our lives. We have matched community helpers to the equipment they use, played Bingo by listening to a description of a helper or their tools, and have read books such as Neighborhood Helpers. Our pretend center has become a Veterinarian Clinic with various outfits and doctor kits. Next door is the Post Office where letters have been sorted and delivered. We will create a fire truck out of shapes on Friday.

The remainder of our conferences will be held on October 18th. If you have not signed up yet or if you need to check your time, please do so by following this link:
