CollegeVine
We are excited to announce a new partnership with CollegeVine. Through our partnership, Avon families will gain free access to a diverse network of college and career counselors, who will work with our counseling department to expand access to college counseling across the district. We invite all students and parents to take advantage of their college counseling services.
Each family has unique needs. You will be able to choose from a diverse range of counselors with varying areas of expertise.
Our in-house counselors are not going anywhere. We recognize the fantastic work they do, but we are also realistic about how much one person can do in a day. Our students deserve more one-on-one attention, and that’s where CollegeVine can help.
Sessions are free for all Avon families.
Counselors are available to meet during the evenings, weekends, and summers.
Counselors have a wide range of expertise. Common counseling topics include- general college admission guidance, essay help, financial aid & scholarship, admissions at selective colleges, staying on track during the admissions process, building a college list, and more!
You will be asked to provide feedback after every session, so we can continue to improve the experience for you and your student.
