Message from the Principal's Desk
Bulldog families,
What a great week talking to students and hearing about all the great steps they are taking to improve their grades. It is so hard to believe that we are moving into the last week of October and that Thanksgiving and Winter Break will be here before we know it. This year is truly flying by.
Please continue to reach out to teachers, counselors and administrators if there is anyway we can help you. November 18th is a scheduled day off for our students. This day will be a virtual conference day for teachers to meet with families to work together on strategies that can help students improve grades or to talk about the amazing work that the student is currently doing. Stay tuned for information on how to sign up for virtual parent/teacher conferences.
Please take time to look at this entire newsletter because there is a lot of information included about picture day, Homecoming week, student BARKS, senior information, and sports. It is my goal to keep families informed with all the important events that are happening in the school and to have an open line of communication with all families and students. Together we can guide our students and make sure they are prepared for the next step in their journey. #ONETEAM

Communication process of a positive COVID-19 case in our building
In these difficult times, it’s easy for misinformation to spread. The goal of CCPS is to
ensure communication protocols are thorough and transparent, while protecting
employee and student privacy. Please remember that we do have a process for
advising those identified as close contacts of a person testing positive. These
notifications are followed by an email that tells staff and families of a positive COVID-19
case in our building.
This communication process can be found on the CCPS website page Positive Case
Reports. This page also includes a weekly report, by building, of any positive cases
reported among staff or students. Feel free to share this page with anyone needing
accurate, verified information.
