Spring Break here we come! Enjoy the week off and we will see you on Monday, April 10. Hopefully when we return the weather will be warm and kids can begin to eat lunch outside.
On Saturday, April 8, Christian Worship Center (CWC) will rent the outside field area from Bridge to host an Easter Egg hunt (see flyer below). This is a community event sponsored by CWC.
Bullfrog shirts were delivered to the school this week! There were over 500 shirts ordered. One of our amazing, dedicated staff members will sort the shirts over Spring Break and they will be sent home with students when we return to school.

Our negative lunch balance is now close to $7,000. This is money the school has to find in its budget to pay at the end of the school year to cover the cost of meals that families did not pay.
PLEASE help us by paying down your negative lunch accounts. You can pay online or in the office. For those interested in donating to help parents with negative lunch balances, we have a Happy Go Lucky account to which you can donate. Ask the office for more information.

Field Day Donations Needed
We are looking for donations for our game booths. Students play games and win prizes. These are not elaborate prizes. We are looking for simple things like you get at Zurchers, pick up in packs at the Dollar Store, or buy from Oriental Trading.
We also need tons and tons and tons of cans of soda for the ring toss. Inexpensive, off-brand soda will do the trick. Please drop your donations off in the office and remember to enter your donations (converted to hours) into our volunteer tracker so your family can be place into our Frog Pond in the front foyer.
Hello, my name is Brenda Hay. I am married to Eric and have four children and two darling grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, playing games, reading, crafting, watching movies and camping.
It is a privilege working in P90. We have a great team and amazing students. I have never cried more happy tears than I have this year to see the growth our students have made in reading fluency. I’m so proud of all their hard work. I love Bridge and I love our Bullfrogs!
Hi! My name is Lily Thompson and I’m lucky enough to be a part of p90! I am married to my best friend and have two children and 3 step children. We are building a home in Mantua so I’m sorry that this is my last year at Bridge! Oh how I love all your children!
I believe in our p90 program so much because we follow the science of reading and have excellent curriculum! It brings me joy to work with your children and see the light in their eyes as they amaze even themselves! Parents, when your children bring home their stories from p90 please ask your children to read them to you to reinforce their learning and success!
Hi, my name is Tyler Smith. I work with our P90 reading intervention team. I love to read, cook, paint, and spend time outdoors. I love seeing and helping these kids learn and grow!
Hello! My name is Trish. I am lucky to have 2 children, their spouses and 4 granddaughters in my life. I love travel, design, camping and gardening. I enjoy working in local theaters as a prop master and doing set dressing. I'm new to P90 but have loved meeting all the cute students. I am also in 4th grade on Fridays. Absolutely love our Bridge students and staff!
Hi, my name is Lucky I am currently finishing up my degree in teaching! I recently started working with the p90 team. It has been an awesome experience so far watching the progress the these kids make in just weeks. P90 is so great. It gives us teachers the opportunity to help kids understand and improve in the places they may be struggling.

Online Lunch Payments
When payments are made online we must complete several steps to get the payments moved to Aspire. We do this every Monday and Wednesday. After we run the online report it takes another day for the money to post to your student's Aspire account. Please allow 3 - 5 days from the day you make the online payment to the day the information posts in Aspire.
The link to make payments online is found on our website by selecting the MEALS icon.
- Cutting Watch Me Learn tickets (stop by the office)
- Pulling weeds in the rock areas and park strips (we have all the area in front of the school and up 4800 S along the school fence).
- Using rakes and shovels to redistribute the gravel from the bottom of the retention area in front of the school to the top area to cover the black landscape screen.
- Parking lot duty before and after school (just check in at the office, put on a yellow vest and talk to Travis in the crosswalk for instructions)
After you have volunteered please enter your hours in our volunteer form on our website:
Once your family has logged 30 volunteer hours they will have a frog put into our Volunteer Pond in the foyer.
If you want to volunteer but do not have the time, you can donate $90 to cover the 30 hours. If you choose to donate, complete the volunteer form. You can donate in the office or by using our DONATE icon on the home page of our website.
Excuse an Absence
Bridge Elementary receives our Title I funding based on the percentage of students that qualify for free or reduced lunch. For this reason we encourage ALL families to apply for Free/Reduced lunch through Aspire to ensure every single student receives the services needed, including access to free or reduced meals if appropriate.
Title I provides avenues for parent input and participation. We do this through our surveys and the link to the form on our website which allows parents to submit questions and suggestions.
You can find more information about Title I as well as a form to ask questions or provide suggestions regarding Title I, on our website at:
