2022-2023 ENROLLMENT IS OPEN!
The 2022-2023 Returning Student Registration Portal is now open.
All students PK-11 who will be returning to Deer Creek for the 2022-2023 school year must complete the online registration by May 1, 2022. Completing registration by the deadline is vital so that the district can properly staff classrooms for the upcoming school year. Registrations are also used to begin classroom and teacher assignments for the 2022-2023 school year. Any students not registered for the 2022- 2023 school year will not be assigned a class/teacher schedule.
Returning Student Registration may be completed online through your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. We suggest using a laptop or desktop to complete the enrollment successfully.

Thank you in advance for completing your student(s) registration for the 2022-2023 school year!
WAY TO GO, DAVID!
Congratulations to David Grisales, one of Mrs. Teague's kindergarteners! On April 9th he participated in the OKATU Taekwondo State Championship in Tulsa. SENIOR CLAP-OUT
We welcomed back our Deer Creek seniors who went to Spring Creek for a special "parade" and clap out on Friday. This is a special group of students, as they were the first to attend Spring Creek the year we opened! Congratulations to our Seniors, we are so very proud of you!
STUDENTS OF THE MONTH
For April, our character trait has been Acceptance. Our students of the month for April were chosen based on their teachers seeing them going above and beyond accepting and including those around them. Way to go, Antlers!
We recognized our second grade Antlers last week, this week we are celebrating our Kindergarten, First and Third grade Antlers! Congratulations!

DROP-OFF REMINDER
Our drop off times in the mornings are from 8:40-8:55 (9:40-9:55 on Wednesdays). Doors close promptly at 8:55 so that teachers who are on supervisions may get to class, as classes begin at 8:55. Once the car line doors close, please be sure to walk your child in through the front doors into the office and sign them in. Students should never be coming through the front doors without a parent or guardian. Thank you!
We Need POPCORN POPPERS!
Birthday Treat Reminder
Birthday treats must be store-bought, pre-packaged in their original sealed container. They must be brought to school by the student in his or her backpack (a great example is "Little Debbie snacks).
No refrigerated or bakery items may be served.
Treats cannot be accepted at the office to be delivered to class.
Thank you!
ATTENDANCE β TARDIES AND LEAVE EARLY
Please make sure, if you check your child in late to school or you check them out early, that you bring us a doctor's note. Any Tardy/check out early (without a note) counts toward your child's absences which count toward Chronic Absenteeism. After 10 days of absences (without a Doctor's note), the District will require you to attend an Attendance Hearing per State guidelines.
It is critical to your child's learning that he/she is in school each day. If you have an extenuating circumstance, please reach out to the office.
MEDICAL DOCUMENTS EMAIL
SCHealth@dcsok.org. This will enable your documents to be received and processed quickly and efficiently. Thank you!

STUDENT INSURANCE
βThe Deer Creek School District has made arrangements to offer Student Accident Insurance for all students from K&K Insurance Group. We make this coverage available to parents for their children who are students enrolled in our schools. The Deer Creek School District does not provide insurance coverage or medical reimbursements to parents for injuries that occur during school, including those incurred during gym classes, recess, etc.
While this coverage is optional, it is important that you review the coverage options available to you and consider purchasing this coverage, especially if your family has health insurance with a high co-payment for doctor and emergency visits, or a high-deductible plan, etc. Go to the link below for the application and additional information.
