St. Michael's News
November 24th, 2023
This Sunday brings the end of the liturgical year, or the church year, with the Solemnity of Christ the King.
This is the newest feast in the Catholic Church, instituted by Pope Pius XI in 1925 as the First World War came to an end. At that time, with secularism on the rise, it was a reminder that Christ is the King and Lord of our lives.
May we continue to put our faith and trust in Christ the King to guide and rule our lives, as we strive to follow Him in all things.
Dance Performance
The children have been dancing all week and had a very successful performance today! We were overjoyed to see their love of music and movement, as well as their willingness to try something outside their comfort-zone with dancing!
Thank you to the many parent who could attend. Thank you to Mr. Roder for bringing in DANCEPL3Y and also to Haley for leading the children with such positive energy and enthusiasm!
