We hope you had a restful spring break and are ready to hit the ground running for the last quarter of 4th grade. This quarter brings some changes as we will begin working on the 4th grade play and prepare for fifth grade. It is sure to be a busy but fun 10 weeks!

Please consider helping for our wonderful chalk walk event on May 26th. Each class will need 3 to 4 volunteers for this event. Please let your child's teacher know if you are able to help on this day and we thank you in advance.

Dreambox Expectations

Dreambox is assigned regularly as homework. Students are recommended to complete 5 lessons per week for maximum growth. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Kolodziej or Mrs. Connary.

Math Support

Please see the link below for fraction support with the new math unit. It is a parent newsletter to help with math vocabulary and models. A hard copy was also sent home last week for your reference.

Math: Students will write fractions as sums, use visual models to add/subtract two fractions with same units, and rename fractions and mixed numbers.

Language Arts: We will read, annotate, and determine main ideas/theme in story, The Gold Letters.

NOTE: Student ID# is the same number used for Achieve 3000 username. Password should be the same as well, except first initial needs to be CAPITALIZED for Office 365.

    • Password: Upper case first letter of first name, lower case of last name, followed by the 8 digit birth date in the mmddyyyy format
