Restricted Days
STEAM Restricted Days for the end of the school year.
May 25th and May 29th
June 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd
If you are requesting a personal day within the restricted days, we must get approval from central office. All sick days taken on these restricted days must be accompanied with documentation. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Helping Out Night Custodians
Thank you to all of the classrooms who are already doing these things. We are working with the night custodians to ensure each classroom gets the attention needed each night. We would like for you to help with these items so the cleaning items are able to be addressed in each classroom.
Stack your chairs each night. If you use alternative seating such as exercise balls, please work with the night custodians to determine the best place for these for cleaning.
All items must be removed from your sink in order for it to be cleaned.
No duct tape on the walls or floor.
Please keep student items put away in a secure place such as headphones, band instruments, coats, lunch boxes, etc. These should not be kept on the floor.
Please do not place liquids in the trash cans.
No hot glue should be used to hang things up.
If you have snack or eat in your classrooms, please make sure they eat at their desks and dispose of it properly to keep it off the floor.
If your students write on desks, please use Expo markers and refrain from using pencils.
Keep projects in a designated area. At times, we have subs in the evening and they need a little help distinguishing projects from trash :)
If you have projects occurring in your classroom, please have your students help pick their mess so less time is spent on picking up items and more time spent on things such as mopping.
No items should be within 24” of the ceiling. (Fire code)
Stakeholder Survey
All certified teachers are required to take the stakeholder’s survey. This will be a part of our checkout this year. Please take time to complete this survey as we use the information for future planning!
