Titanic splitting in half
As Titanic sank and took many people with it, it also snapped in half.
The Titanic was a Royal Mail Ship (R.M.S) and ran for the White Star Line, whose rival was the Cunard Line. It wasn't claimed to be unsinkable, just virtually unsinkable, because it had fifteen watertight bulkheads. The, very large bronze propellers sent the Titanic along the ocean faster than any other ship in the line. Just the anchor weighed 15.75 Tons!
