Elementary Distance Learning Update
Thank You Medford Elementary Families!
We look forward to briefly "seeing" each of you on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday to exchange our technology devices, chargers, books, and any other items for your child's items from their desk and locker. Student Item Exchange This Week! (3rd, 4th, & 5th)
On June 3rd, 4th, & 5th there will be a Student Item Exchange. At this time, you will bring your child's school-issued device, charger, and any other school items to return.
On your scheduled day, please enter the school parking lot using the east entrance. Pull all the way up to the Elementary Entrance and staff will be coming out to your vehicle
When we come up to your car, please give us the following:
- All devices and their charger cords
- Any other school items: teacher books, library books, etc.
- A piece of paper with your child's name and teacher's name (we will use this to locate their items)
We will quickly bring the items in to be sorted by other staff members and then a someone will bring out your bag of items.
When we are inside, if you could open your car door or pop the trunk, we can put your items directly into the car.
We hope to make this a smooth process for everyone. If you have questions, please let us know. The Elementary Office will be open during this time to receive phone calls. You can reach us at 507.214.6310.
Teachers will be communicating with families to remind you what materials/items that will need to be returned.
Schedule for June 3rd, 4th, & 5th
*Please bring a piece of paper with your child's name and teacher's name on it.
Wednesday, June 3rd (7:30am-6:00pm) - All families with last names beginning with letters A-H will bring in their items to be returned as well as pick up any personal belongings.
Thursday, June 4th (7:30am-6:00pm) - All families with last names beginning with letters I-P will bring in their items to be returned as well as pick up any personal belongings.
Friday, June 5th (7:30am-5:00pm) - All families with last names beginning with letters Q-Z will bring in their items to be returned as well as pick up any personal belongings. This day will also be utilized for families that were unable to bring in their items on June 3rd or 4th. If you are unable to come on Friday, please choose Wednesday or Thursday.

Kindergarten - Ipad & Ipad charger/Brick if you received one from the school, All Library Books
First Grade - Ipad & Ipad charger/Brick if you received one from the school, All Library Books
Second Grade - Ipad & Ipad charger/Brick, Journeys Reading Black Book, Plastic Book Boxes (Mrs. Norton's Class), All Library Books
Third Grade - Ipad & Ipad charger/Brick, EL Book from Mrs. Welle-Erwin (if you received one), All Library Books
Fourth Grade - Ipad & Ipad charger/Brick, Journeys Reading Book, Fractions Bars, and/or Circles, All Library Books
Fifth Grade - Chromebook & Chromebook charger, Books from Classroom Libraries, Book Bins (Mrs. Bang's class only), Toothpick Bridges, All Library Books
Sixth Grade - Chromebook & Chromebook charger, Small Group Novel Study books - Mrs. Feldhake's class - (1 Book), Mrs. Drake's class - (2 Books), Mrs. Lebrun's class - (1 Book), Books from Classroom Libraries, All Library Books
