Year 5 Weekly Update

Week 19
Congratulations to Miss Burley who had a healthy baby girl on Monday afternoon! Both mum and daughter, Elliott, are doing really well. Pictures to follow soon.
Next week the Year 5's will be going to the Water Resource Centre in Mongkok. This will be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about water usage in our local environment. A reminder that individual classes will be going on the following days:
5D - Monday
5B - Tuesday
5A - Wednesday
Each class will be back in time for lunch.

In preparation for next weeks independent inquiries, we would like the children to begin researching on one of the following areas:
- Distribution & availability of usable water (e.g. water supply & access around the World)
- Responsibilities regarding water (e.g. pollution, conservation)
- How water changes (e.g. water cycle)
We would like your research to be included on a Google Doc and shared with your teacher (5B - please wait for Ms MacDonald to update you on her email address next week).
