The Weekly Hoot
September 24 - September 30, 2018
Greetings All -
Happy Saturday morning! I snuck out yesterday afternoon in order to come and keep Brett for Morgan today while she went to class. Thursday evening she had him in the ER with 104 fever so we were thinking a babysitter couldn't keep him this morning. Of course, he is just fine now! It is great to see them though. It rained almost the whole way here, but I heard on the weather report this morning that we might get out next cool front next weekend. I, for one, could not be more excited about that!
Goal-setting conferences are over! Now the real work begins! :) I will be getting with the first round of observation folks this week to set up a time for your observation next week and also to set up a pre-conference. I am excited about using T-TESS this year. I see how it all fits together and am looking forward to seeing the growth in you and your students.
Homecoming Week next week is going to be filled with lots of fun activities. I encourage you to play along and enjoy this week with the kiddos. These are the days that are etched into their memories and make them think back fondly on their school experience. The district is working hard to instill school pride in our students and start traditions that will last for years to come. I am so excited about the direction that is going!
I can't believe the next Hoot I write will be in October! This first four weeks of school has flown by. I appreciate everyone's efforts and dedication that I see on a daily basis. Our students are lucky to have each of you in their lives. Thank you for all that you do every single day.
I hope each of you are going to take time this weekend to rest and recharge. I am driving home this evening, going to church in the morning, and vegging out the rest of Sunday watching football! Perfect weekend! See ya on Monday!
Building Champions!
Love to all,
Marcy
