Mrs. Knodle's class

Books..Books...and more books
Reading is important to know how to do. That's why it's important in Mrs. Knodle's class.
The Killer's Cousin
This is the book we are reading in Mrs. Knodle's class. We are reading this because Mrs. Knodle wants us to listen to how she reads it so we can get a better idea of how we are supposed to read our books.
Reading is Fun!
Some people think that and some just read their books to get the points. It's mostly the second one in this situation.
Books this...Books that....
Reading is very very important in our everyday life. When you don't know how to read which is the men's bathroom or which is the women's bathroom, than that's when you know you need to start your reading. That would be just plain embarrassing.
DLR~ Daily Language Review
DLR is a worksheet that we learn how to fix sentences, finding and fixing grammar and all kinds of other stuff. It helps a lot when it comes to things on different worksheets that are on there.
Common Core Reading
Our common core reading book can be a struggle at times...but most of the time we get it. In the book, we have many kinds of stories that we read. Then, at the end of the story we answer questions. Even though we don't like to do them it will get us ready for PARCC tests.
Essays
Earlier in the year we wrote a narrative essay and we didn't have much trouble with it because we wrote one earlier in the year. Now earlier in November we started to write a thesis essay and we are having more trouble now. Thesis essays are taking a little more trouble than we thought it would. Finally, we got both done though and we got through it.
The outcome
After everything we do we realize it really does help. Even though it can be a struggle sometimes we get it done. Most of the time we get it right. We realize that reading class really does help.
