Tweet of the Week
Problems are just opportunities for us to do something different and meaningful! Be awesome today!!
The other quote is from Norfolk Catholic School (@NorfolkCatholic), an AWESOME school in Norfolk, Nebraska:
Our school exists to help people know Christ. Let's focus on him today. Every day.
No students Monday, but it will be a busy day!
Lunch will NOT be provided on Monday, but please make sure you're back at the Parish Center by 1:00 so we can get started on time!
NNNC Fall Writing Scores Were GREAT!
Celia told me that our students' scores were "off the chart" and the best she's seen in the 4-5 years we've been doing this. In addition, when I talked to Hilary Claussen at Parent/Teacher Conferences, she told me that our 4th graders scored very well, also!
Congratulations to our students and all of the teachers who've helped them get this far!
In preparation for All Saints Day...
Norm Hale OK after car accident
I talked to Norm yesterday on my way home from Omaha and he was still very sore and his memory of the accident was still very fuzzy. But, judging from the pictures of his pickup that he showed me, he's very lucky that the injuries weren't more severe. Thanks be to God!
Thank you for supporting The Fund for NC!
Good luck to FB & VB
Servant Leader of the Week
Staci is the single mom of Kayloni (2nd grade) and Kanyon (5th) and handles all of the decorating for Spirit.
This last weekend, along with her brother Shawn Sullivan and his wife Katie and their two kids Trista (5th grade) and Dusty (6th grade) they handmade 12 life-sized Knights that will be used for decorations for Spirit.
Staci uses vacation time to travel to Omaha to select linens every year for this event as well as taking days off from her full-time job to bring it all together the days before the event.
Giving without counting the cost - and involving her family along the way - is why Staci is this week's Servant Leader of the Week.
Nominated by Leisa Piper.
