As always please be sure your child has a good night's sleep and either eats breakfast at home or come to school on time to have breakfast at school.

It is important that students are at school before 9:15 a.m. and that they are not signed out early during testing.

Take a moment to talk to your child about doing their best on the GMAS.

Provide an incentive for your child just like teachers and the school does if they need a little extra motivation.

Breakfast begins at 8:45 a.m. and ends at 9:15 a.m.

Your child is late if they aren't in school by 9:15 a.m

Have a wonderful week!

Ms. Fitzgerald

Month of the Military Child - Dress in Purple on Friday, April 26th (no cost)

April is recognized nationally as the Month of the Military Child, where we honor the sacrifices of our military children and recognize the unique challenges of their lives. Georgia is home to the fifth largest state population of military and it has military children in all of its counties.

The color purple is chosen as the signature color as it symbolizes all branches of the military: it is the combination of Army green, Coast Guard blue, Air Force blue, Marine red and Navy blue.

Friday, April 26th - students and staff dress in purple for Purple Up Day. (no cost to dress in purple)

Military parents are invited to come and eat with their child(children) during their lunch time. Military parents can bring lunch also if they would like to eat with their child if they would like to on this day.

If students don't have a shade of purple they should wear their school uniform.

Administrative Assistant Day - Wednesday, April 24th

Administrative Professionals Day – is a day that is celebrated on the Wednesday in the last week of April to recognize the contributions of administrative assistants (formerly called secretaries).

We are so thankful to have such a wonderful team with our full time Administrative Assistant, Mrs. Cara Bunkley and our part time Administrative Assistant, Mrs. Theresa Grant. Everyday you can see students lining up to come into the office to visit, talk and get hugs whether it is in the morning or at the end of the day. The office is a welcoming place, organized, efficient and provides a high level of customer service for our parents, students and staff.

Students can show their appreciation by writing notes and/or hand made cards and giving them to Mrs. Bunkley and/or Mrs. Grant on Wednesday, April 24th
