Food Allergies

A food allegy is an immune systems reaction to the consumption of even the smallest amount of an allergy causing food; can result in digestive problems, hives, and swollen airways.
Symptoms
- Pain inthe abdomen area
- Diarrhea
- Indigestion
- Nausea
- Passing excessive amounts of gas
- Vomiting
- Flatulence
- Hives
- Rashes
- Baby colic
- Cramping
- Flushing
- Itching
- Tingling lips
Things client should stay away from:
- Shellfish
- Nuts
Treatment
Stay away from foods you are allergic to and just learn to live without them or find substitutes. If an allergic reaction occurs, use an epipen and go to the hospital as soon as possible. You should have an epipen with you at all times.
This ailment is not usually a passing one later in life.
