Welcome to 2022 - 23 School Year!
Plano Middle School: A National "Schools to Watch"
Welcome to Plano Middle School and the 2022 - 23 School year. The staff at Plano Middle School is beyond excited to open our doors and welcome students for the 2022 - 23 school year. Plano Middle School is a Nationally recognized School's to Watch Award winning school for best practices in middle level education. Implementing age appropriate Middle Level Best Practices for Academic Excellence, Developmental Responsiveness, Equity, and Organizational Structures, Plano Middle School provides a learning environment where all students are provided the opportunity to meet the District #88 mission to Achieve Academically, Experience Personal Growth, and Make Positive Contributions to Society.
Plano Middle School strives to provide a program that supports our students' academic, social emotional, and developmental growth. We are proud to offer a challenging educational program, a NAMM award winning music program, an ever-growing athletic program, and a host of club opportunities that offer something for everyone. Plano Middle School encourages its students to get involved and stay involved. We believe it is important to be connected to the school through positive relationships, a sense of community, and participation in extracurricular opportunities; from the first day of school to the last, this is a message students will hear often.
Our staff recognizes the role they play in helping our children reach their full potential, and they do not take the responsibility lightly. We truly believe all students can be successful, and this belief drives the work they do on a daily basis. Parent involvement is vital to your children’s success, and we ask that you continue to play an active role in their education.
I am honored to lead such an outstanding school community and eagerly anticipate a rewarding and successful year. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions, concerns, or input at any time.
Proud to be a Tiger!
