Finalize ESY and compensatory ARDs. Also, HELP still needed! Spread the Word.
ESY and Compensatory Lists are Past Due. Thank you for completing this informaiton so we are able to staff, plan, build classes, and provide transportation and child nutrition with accurate information.
If you have not completed this information yet or have additional students you were not previously expecting, please see the information below and complete.
Please complete this document for the following students:
· 1 )Anticipated Students for ESY with ARDs in May (tab 1)
· 2) ARDed Compensatory Services for Summer 2022 (tab 2)
For clarification purposes, “Speech @ ESY due to regression/non-recoupment” and “Other service @ ESY due to regression/non-recoupment” was added to the columns. Please only mark a Y in the Speech column if the student was ARDed for Speech at ESY – same for the other services. This is also the same on the Compensatory tab. Only add a “Y” if the student was ARDed for that service for Compensatory.
As a reminder, ESY will run from June 13 – 23rd and July 11th – 21st from 8:30 – 11:30. Compensatory services will be offered the same weeks but in the afternoons from 11:30 – 3:30 PM.
If you have already completed the student’s ARD and ESY supplement, you do not need to enter the information into the spreadsheet. This is only for students who have not been ARDed for ESY yet and for students who have ARDed compensatory services.

Just a reminder, that students that require an IEP's must have their ARD committee act as their Committee for the accelerate instruction determiniation. If parents are in agreement with the plan and not having an ARD, this can be done through an amendement.

Gather ALL testing protocols & files into 1 folder prior to turning in to Special Services
All assessment staff should turn in all student records/protocols in ONE folder to the appropriate PEIMS clerk.
Diags are the point person to gather and turn in the one folder for all team evaluation students. SLP's will turn in the protocol folder for students only being evaluated by an SLP.
Any documents that are archived (with signatures when appropriate) in esped, do NOT need to be turned in.
YOU BE THE JUDGE:
Is parent who impeded delivery of online services entitled to comp ed?
"A fourth-grade student with a specific learning disability in reading qualified for special education. The district provided the homeschooled student virtual reading services. The student received an account on the district's website, a recurring Zoom link, and access to the Google Classroom. The district scheduled reading sessions with the student every Monday." - Special Education Connection, LRP
