Humbled Heart

As I have been preparing for Teacher Appreciation Week, I have spent some time reflecting on all the amazing things that have happened in the short time we have been a team. I have watched so many of you step out of your comfort zones and really soar! You have truly become each other's stretch team! We are moving this school in the right direction! I am so proud to be apart of such a great team and a wonderful community.

Please know that while I may not always convey it as I should, I am truly grateful for all that you do to make our school a great place. You are truly a blessing to me.

Counting today we have five more Mondays. Instead of counting them down, I encourage you to think outside the box. How will you make every minute of the remaining time you have with your students matter? Be intentional with your planning, your conversations, and your interactions with our students. This time of year provides opportunities to branch out and try something outside our comfort zone as educators. Are you thinking about implementing something new next year? Now is a great time to give it a test run. Don't let the end of the year doldrums invade your space. Combat them by participating in a Twitter chat, like #leadupchat on Saturdays at 8:30 am. Connecting with educators across the world can help to keep you energized these last few weeks. Let's finish stronger than ever!

Tweet out the amazing things you are doing today! If you don't have a Twitter account send pics/description to Mrs. Norton and she will tweet if for you.

Tell Your Story!!

Please make sure to include your successes to the document below! We want to celebrate with you!

Last Week at CES!
