Gabrielle Coco Chanel

Chanel was one of the few designers that made a bold and lasting impression on women's fashion. She changed women's role in society, while making them stand out again. She wanted women to let go and not be so tight. Chanel added extra designs to her clothes to make them stand out and not be so plain. Her style included colorful patterns, lace, tulle, and decorative elements. One of her biggest accomplishments was opening up her store and being recognized for her first piece of clothing she ever designed.
