A Note From Our School Nurse
“I See You”
I frankly have an embarrassment of riches in regards to my life. I have a husband who has always been my best friend for 33 years and still counting. I have a strong-willed daughter who I am extremely proud of and can’t wait to see her future life adventures!
I have the opportunity to take care of five schools that have their own personalities and strengths. This personal note is really to my coworkers and students. I have seen students struggle with academics combined with personal and emotional issues such as depression, self-injury like cutting, suicide, alcohol and drug abuse, pregnancy, and homelessness. This list goes on and on. Yet, I am hopeful and thankful because the giving souls that I work with step up and try every day to make a positive impact on the students. I have had the privilege of seeing the kids grow and change from kindergarten to graduation. I am amazed at their resiliency to succeed in life, make friends, and accomplish personal goals despite challenges they face. So, I would like to thank
The staff at Seward MS, HS, Moose Pass, Cooper Landing and Hope. Most of all, I would like to thank the kids for letting me be a small part of their lives.
Happy Holidays!

Holiday Market Thank You!
The parents, students, and staff of Cooper Landing School would like to thank everyone for helping to make the Holiday Market a successful fundraiser for our school. Whether you made soup or baked goods, were a vendor, shopped, donated, or helped in some other way, we couldn’t have done it without you!
The school's soup and bake sale did very well, and several vendors told us that their sales were up, despite a somewhat smaller crowd this year. We hope everyone had fun and found the day worthwhile. Thank you for supporting your community!
We hope to see you again next year, the Saturday before Thanksgiving!
