Steeple Run School Directory
Steeple Run Elementary School is happy to announce that we will again be using the app “DirectorySpot” for our school directory. Each family will be able to access the school directory right from their smartphone or desktop and it will always be updated with the latest information!
- The app will contain student names, grade levels and teachers, as well as parent names, home phone number, home address, and parent email addresses. The data and users in DirectorySpot can be updated throughout the year. Parents can share as much information as they feel comfortable or can completely opt out of the directory and changes can be made anytime during the year.
- The app is very secure and only parents and staff of Steeple Run will be granted access. Each user will log on with their authorized email address and will set their own password. The administration of District 203 approved the use of DirectorySpot and found it to be safe, secure and user friendly. If you would like more information on security features, please go to: https://www.directoryspot.net/security.php
- For users that had access last year, the transition will be seamless. You will automatically see the new data once updates have been made. New users will receive an email with instructions for downloading the app and creating an account.
- If you would like to “opt out” of DirectorySpot and NOT have your family information included in the online directory, please send an email to Santosh Taware at steeplerundirectoryspot@gmail.com by September 10th. (During the registration process, you completed a Permissions Form. This form required you to opt in or opt out of the School Directory. Our school directory will include only those families that have opted in on that form. If you're not sure or have any questions, please contact Santosh Taware at the email address listed above.)
Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) runs from Sept 15- Oct 15
The H&S Diversity Committee will celebrate by displaying a HHM bulletin outside the Learning Commons (LC) for students to view. In addition, we are also planning another outdoor movie night!! Please see the attached flyer for more details and stay tuned for further information.
