This year, since conferences will be held online to ensure families' best access, we are offering conferences by appointment. In line with PPS’ commitment to improving student outcomes for historically underserved students, including students with disabilities and students who are learning English, we will priority-schedule conference slots before opening conference appointments to all families. Conference appointments will be made online.
Parent Conferences are November 23rd and 24th, from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM. This is a great opportunity to connect with your scholar’s teachers about their progress in their classes. This year we are using an online program, Sign Up Genius, to schedule conferences. We believe this will be more convenient for parents as well as more efficient for us.
To schedule conferences, go to this link:
- Click "teacher’s name or grade level
- You will need your scholar’s schedule so that you can select their current teachers
- Select available conference times with your scholar’s teachers (6th & 7th-grade core teachers will hold panel conferences)
- Click sign-up for selected conferences
- Your conferences will be displayed on the screen
You will also receive a confirmation email.
Conferences will take place virtually or by phone. Please specify if you’d like a phone conference in the notes section when scheduling your conference time.
Whether you sign up for conferences or not, let us know how your student is doing. This information will be shared with teachers so we can better understand your student's situation:
If you do not have internet access at home or need assistance, contact the school office at Harriet Tubman by phone or email.

The Benson Wellness Center, sponsored by Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), at Benson Polytech High School, provides preventative health services for PPS students ages 7-21 years old.
As a reminder, any PPS student can go to any open Student Health and Wellness Center nearest to them to access services. In addition to Benson and Roosevelt, Student Health Centers at David Douglas and Parkrose high schools remain open.
