Happy Spring to all our SV Families!

March is a super busy month at Sierra Vista for all our students! This month kicks off our welcome to our new incoming 7th grade families, our focus on transition our current 7th graders as they move into 8th grade, and time for us to help prepare our current 8th graders as they begin their promotion towards high school. As always, we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming parent engagement opportunities.

Please take the time to discuss with your 7th-grade students their plans for selecting Elective courses next year. Also, for those students heading off to Canyon, please begin having conversations with your students about courses they are thinking about enrolling in for next year. Listed below are the various activities related to course selection for all students.

Thanks for all you do! You are the reason for Together we Succeed!

Help Us Keep Our Students & Safe Healthy!

We appreciate you reinforcing our school-wide message to your students about the importance of washing their hands often, cleaning up their trash, and keeping their hands to themselves throughout the day to help keep everyone healthy on campus!

Students are hearing messages through our SV Life show, reminders from their teachers, and campus-wide we are putting up reminder posters on campus. We are increasing our sanitation efforts campus-wide.

Again, please remind your students to wash their hands throughout the day! Also, by ensuring they throw all their trash away. This helps to decrease germs from spreading throughout campus. Minimizing contact (hugging, touching, holding hands, etc) will also help decrease the chance of spreading germs.

Please continue to monitor the district website for further updates.

Sierra Vista is a Voting Location!

In case you weren't away, Sierra Vista was selected as a location for voting. Our MPR is open for public voting from Saturday, February 29th through Tuesday, March 3rd. If you plan on voting at Sierra Vista, please park in the large lot next to the Boys and Girls Club.

To ensure we continue our efforts at remaining a locked/closed campus, we have security arranged through the voting commission that is stationed in our MPR to ensure that all individuals voting enter and exit our campus through the door to the parking lot.
