Language in Ancient Rome
In Ancient Rome, the official language they spoke was Latin. This language has had a great influence on many people today. For example, the English language is made up with many Latin root words. The picture below is of the Latin alphabet.
Ancient Roman Literature
Ancient Rome was a very rich time for writing and literature. This time period is sometimes referred to as the golden age. Some plays, poems, and stories written in this time are still famous today. Some famous authors in this time are Ceaser and Eusebius.
