Wise Men Visited Jesus
Childrens Ministry
Dear Parents
This week, we concluded our Christmas unit in The Gospel Projectfor Kids and studied
how wise men traveled from far away to worship Jesus as King. King Herod, on the other hand, was nearby, but He wanted to destroy Jesus because he felt threatened. Jesus is the true King, promised in 2 Samuel 7, who is worthy of our worship.
Help your kids find meaningful and sincere ways to worship Jesus this week as they continue to celebrate the birth of Jesus even after Christmas day has passed.
Unit Key Passage
Galatians 4:4-5
"But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons."
Unit 5 Session 3
Main Point: The wise men worshiped Jesus.
Big Picture Question: Why was Jesus born? Jesus was born to rescue us.
Christ Connection: The wise men came to worship Jesus as King. God promised to send a King who would be King forever. Jesus is the King who will always be King. Jesus is the true King, and He deserves all our worship.

Hi Family,
This Sunday we learned about the wise men finding baby Jesus and worshipping Him as their King. We played lots of fun games together to help remind us that Jesus is our King and that He deserves all our worship and love. we pray your and your family would be able to continue to see Jesus as your King and worship Him as He deserves. Loving Him and giving praise to Him in everything you do. Love you family, grace and peace.

Hello family!
We finished up our Christmas unit this week with the study of the wise men. Next week we will be back in our chronological study in Exodus focusing on the plagues, the passover and the crossing of the Red Sea. Thank you for coming to church and giving us the opportunity to come alongside your children and help teach them scriptural truths. We are in prayer for you and love you. We hope you had a Merry Christmas and that your New Year is wonderful.
See you next week!
