Friday, February 10, students dress up like superheroes!

West Cypress students and teachers will work together to increase awareness of our anti-bullying rules. Each day, Monday through Thursday, we’ll focus on a different rule from our Olweus pledge. On Friday, at our 7:35 am school assembly, we’ll celebrate H.E.R.O Week and dress like a superhero!

Per district policy, phone calls will not be accepted as appropriate documentation for any absence. If your child is absent for any reason, please either: 1) Send an email from parent’s email address to wchregistrar@ltisdschools.org indicating child’s full name, teacher, and reason for absence or 2) send a handwritten note indicating child’s full name, teacher and reason for the absence or 3) a doctor’s note for the absence or 4) log into the School Dismissal Manager software and indicate the absence there for your child. If your child is absent more than 1 day because of illness, please submit each day on School Dismissal Manager or email each day. If your child misses any school for a doctor’s appointment, please send a doctor’s note to the front office upon his/her return. Absence notification is required so that we know whether it is an excused or unexcused absence and must be submitted within 3 days. Lunch and Learn Spanish Classes are being offered for Grades K – 5 at West Cypress January 23 through May 1. The instructor is Profesora Sumano claudiasumano@gmail.com.
