Hike, Bike, Paddle Trip

Thank you to all the parent volunteers who chaperoned our trips last week. We had a wonderful two-day experience! Stay tuned for all of the photos that we will share.

The Chatfield Middle School Tribal Wars will be held on Friday, June 11th. Thank you to the volunteers who have signed up to help with Tribal Wars.

All students will be given a shirt to wear representing their homeroom's color. The shirts will be sent home on Tuesday, June 8th. Students may alter the shirt as long as it follows the school's dress code.

Please make sure that your child wears sunscreen and has a water bottle on Friday. A hot dog lunch will be provided for every student, but they may also bring lunch and snacks from home.

This year, 6th-grade students will take their math final exam on Monday, June 14th. It's never too early to start preparing. We will continue to discuss study strategies in class.

Summer Reading and 7th Grade Step-Up Day

Students will meet with the 7th-grade teachers on Thursday, June 10th. They will receive their summer reading novels and projects at this time and will also have a chance to ask questions about next year.

Caribbean Cruise Celebration

On Tuesday, June 15th 6th-grade students will celebrate a year of learning with a beach day! We have been learning about Caribbean culture and will enjoy a morning of fun festivities and treats. Your child is welcome to wear beach attire and bring a beach towel.

Please return any novels that belong to Chatfield. There are still several students who need to return their book club and independent reading novels. Now is a great time to check those bookshelves. Thank you!

Please CHARGE the Chrome Book!

Please remind your child to charge their laptop each night, so that it is fully charged for the next school day. Powering the laptop completely off will help make sure it is fully charged. Thank you!

The Google Classroom

Your child has access to Google Classroom where all assignments for math, ELA, science and social studies are shared. Below is a tutorial created by Mrs. Boyle we strongly encourage all parents to view and reference should they have questions about Google Classroom. Please take the time to view the tutorial and let us know if you have any questions.
