Stars and Wish
- Incorporating expert parent voices into lessons. Mr. Sikes had two parents share Chinese cultural practices on Chinese New Year celebrations. Ms. Dunkle had a parent share as well. I learned a lot!
- Math IC observations with Mrs. Saleske and Mrs. Hanson was great to see in action! The level of support given by them with the students at the table and the other K students working independently at math stations self regulated and on task was impressive.
- Mrs. O' Mealy had her class working on STEM activities in groups around the room. The beginning coding experience is powerful learning for our K students!
- Thank you Mrs. Youngblood, Mrs. Saleske, Mrs. Burns, Mr. Sikes, Mrs. O'Mealy, and Mrs. Hightower for assisting me with ideas for the Imagine Grant. It will be tweeted out on Thursday - please retweet and promote on social media!
Wish:
- As I think about how much time our students are needing to be self regulated in their learning at various stations, what accountability do you have to ensure they are using that important learning time as intended? Reflection sheets, recording sheet, monitoring of time/tasks completed on Lexia and Dreambox...??? With your team have this discussion and share some ideas:)

Imagination Station Input Needed for Next Year
Welcome to the Team
They have large shoes to fill but the reference checks and interview process reflects some strong teachers heading our way!
