How do I find my catalog?
You can find and access your school's library catalog in a few different locations:
- Head straight to our list of catalogs at destiny.boiseschools.org
- Check out your school's website and find the link to your library page
- Elementary schools will be directed first to the district page, where you can find the link to all the library catalogs.
So what can you do with the catalog?
Logging in:
First things first! Let's get you logged in:
- You can use your badge number to log into the Destiny Catalog, which will give you access to different features.
- Can't login? Or don't have an account? Click here to request one.
What features will you have access to?
- Book up to nearly 200 different novel sets from our District Instructional Media Center. For help on finding and booking a novel set, click here for instructions or ask your librarian.
- Looking for that one book you need for a lesson? Check the catalog, which will allow you search at your school and across the district, then you can place a hold on it.
- Accessing eBooks & AudioBooks isn't just for recreational reading. Pull up the novel you're reading in class so students can follow along, or one of the dozens of non-fiction titles to support your lessons.
- Build as many resource lists as you want of specific titles that your students can use for projects by making it public on your school's catalog.
Available Digital Resources
We have hundreds of eBooks and AudioBooks available:
- Destiny Discover App will give you access to not only the library catalog, but works as an eReader for any eBooks or AudioBooks available
- New this year and only available to secondary students and all faculty, is Overdrive. This is the same platform that the Boise Public Library uses for their eBooks as well. You can find not only a collection of classic and recommended titles, but also best selling young adult fiction.
