Dream Big, Go Far Jog-a-Thon 2022

Our Dream Big, Go Far Jog-a-thon Fundraiser is ONE WEEK AWAY! $17,000 of our $60,000 goal has been raised! Discover the fun incentives your child, their class or the whole school can earn by raising money for the Jog-A-Thon. The incentives include:


  • Students who raise over $150 will receive a one-day “no homework” pass from their teacher.

  • Every child who participates will get a ticket for every $50 raised and entered into a pool to win PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY

  • The grade level to raise the most money overall (on a per student basis), will receive a pizza party! (TK and K are combined as one grade level)

  • If there is full class participation in fundraising, that grade will receive a special, 45-minute recess. (TK and K are combined as one grade level)

  • If the entire school raises, $35,000 all students will receive a special, 1-hour recess with a Popsicle

  • If the entire school raises, $50,000, all of the above PLUS - students will get to SLIME Ms. Roberts

  • If the entire school reaches our annual goal of $60,000 – all the above PLUS students will get to have a NINJA WARRIOR BLOW UP COURSE RUN

Printed pledge packets were sent home in folders a few weeks ago, but extras can be picked up in the main office. Pledges can be turned in before the actual event.

Salsa Festival Winner

Our Salsa Festival yesterday was such an amazing event! The evening was filled with community and great salsa. Our winning class is... Ms. Conway's TK Class!


Thank you to our Salsa Festival team, Ms. Skoien, Ms. Feltes, Ms. Fehr-Canela, and Mr. Berry for putting it all together. Also, thank you to all of the teachers for facilitating the making of salsa in all of the classrooms. Lastly, thank you to all of our volunteers who helped during the event.


Next year, Sprouts has offered to sponsor the event by providing all of the ingredients, chips, and water needed for our entire school! Thank you, Noelle Mullen, for reaching out to them.

Buy in Party Fun- 10/15

Oktoberfest – $65 per person

Saturday, October 15th at 6:00pm

Join us at the McArdle home on October 15th for this now legendary party! Get your lederhosen ready and start training for the stein hoisting competition!

Walk and Roll to School Day

Please join us on October 5th for International Walk and Roll to School Day! You may ride your bike or scooter or walk to school. If you do not live close to McKinley, consider parking at the Fairgrounds and walking over. We will have prizes for participants.

The McKinley Performing Arts Program is proud to announce our spring production, Shrek The Musical, Jr.

We will be holding auditions for our production of Shrek The Musical, Jr. on Wednesday, November 9 in the McKinley Multi. Callback auditions will take place Friday, November 10. All interested students in grades 1-8 are invited to audition.

The cost of the program is $75 per cast member and $40 per crew member. No student will be turned away due to lack of funds. Families may pay what they can or receive full scholarships. Please complete the enrollment fee form here.
