World's Finest Chocolate Sale Information
Greetings Holy Family,
It is time for a World's Finest Chocolate candy sale update. You did great work selling WFC to fundraise for our school. Thank you! Our work is not yet over. We need to finish the sale by returning the sale money. Across Holy Family, $5332 needs to be turned in by 87 families.59 families out of those still have their first case of candy out.
At St. Jude, 47 families have $2583 out. At LaSalle, 40 families have $2749 out.
If you have any questions about your outstanding candy money please let me know. I can provide a detailed transaction record for each family.
The WFC fundraiser is not over until all money is collected and all candy is sold. At this time we have about 300 items of candy,
(mostly almond bars) remaining. Returning candy costs us shipping and our bonus. Let's find this remaining candy a good home.
Keep up the good work. Let's bring the 2020 WFC fundraiser to a successful close
Thank you

Parent Association "Wishing Snowman"
The Parent Association would like to provide a "Thank you" to our staff. We have a "Wishing Snowman" hanging in the buildings. On the snowflakes are names of our staff and their wish items. Families are encouraged to select a snowflake, purchase the item and return it to the staff member by February 14th.
*There are still quite a few snowflakes left at both schools -
LaSalle: they are hanging by the snowman right outside of the office!
St. Jude: they are hanging by the snowman in the entryway!
Thank you!
Holy Family Sock Hop
It’s Sock Hop time!!!!! Gals….dust off the old saddle shoes and get those skirts fluffed and ready. Guys, get the black leather jackets ready and hair slicked back. The annual Holy Family PA Sock Hop is here to stay! Come join us for food, catching up with friends and fun next Friday, February 14th, VALENTINE’S DAY! That is just one week away….. Ticket’s are just $3.00 per student, adults are free. Where else can you have this much fun with your favorite little valentines for just $3.00 per student?
The following is just an idea of what you can expect this year:
Dance the night away to some amazing music by Holy Family’s own Nick Ireland. The infamous Hula Hoop contest will make it’s return again this year (Is this your year?). There will be random door prizes, areas to take group pictures and selfies, including fun “50’s Sock hop accessories” for your selfie pictures. Don’t forget to drive on up to Holy Family’s Sock Hop Diner for some food and beverages to help fuel that energy you will need for dancing. We encourage everyone to wear their 50’s Sock Hop attire. However, 50’s attire is not necessary to join in on the fun. **Please keep the school’s Christian modesty and dress code policy in mind when choosing outfits for the dance.** Tickets will be purchased at the door and used as your child’s entry to win door prizes. (Names will be drawn throughout the night.) Doors open at 5:30 pm. Music from 6-8 pm. Be there or be square!
Parents;
If you are going to be there and would like to help where is needed, please take a look at the sign up genius: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0f4aacae2da4f85-sock1
You could even stay behind after to help make clean up easier on all involved. Remember….many hands make light work! If there are any questions, please feel free to e-mail Jessie Goodell, LaSalle PA rep, at jrgoodell5@gmail.com
Holy Family Scrip News
How about a daily cup of coffee? Using Starbucks as an example: If you spend $5 on a drink 5 days a week for a year and pay with a Scrip Starbucks card you could earn about $45 for you and $45 for the school, just for switching how you pay. They have a reloadable option as well as ScipNow! which is an egift card and you can link them to your account.
We had an email notice that we earned an extra $13 from Kwik Star from those who have purchased scrip cards and made an in-store purchase with them. We don't have very many who order from there but, if more people did, we could earn a bigger bonus! It is a 10% bonus that we receive quarterly.
Next order is Monday, Feb. 24
Remaining order dates for this year: Feb 24, Mar. 2, Mar. 30, Apr. 20, May 4, May 18

If you can help to count receipts please let your school office know!
So far our total earned is over $2300! Please keep the receipts coming to push our total even higher!
