"Educational Bags - Virtual Classroom"

"Educational Bags/Virtual Classroom type work has been sent home with your students in the case that we do have to close down for a period of time due to Covid-19. We will remain open as of now, but please keep a close eye on your email and phone in the case that we do need to close.

**THESE PACKETS SHOULD ONLY BE USED IF THE SCHOOL IS CLOSED - YOU WILL RECEIVE NOTIFICATION WHEN THESE PACKETS SHOULD BE USED.**

What are we doing here at St. Anna's to ensure the health and safety of students while here at school

  • Constant reminders of hand washing
  • Hand washing lessons with students especially the younger kids
  • Additional cleaning of handles, railings, desks and chairs
  • Hand Sanitizers located in all classrooms and in the cafeteria

REMINDER: Registration is in full swing! Tell your friends and co-workers

Registration is in full swing. Our tuition referral incentive program continues.

Share your love of St. Anna and you could receive a tuition referral credit of $500/family prior to September 1st. Referring families must register before September 1st and your tuition will be credited $250 on September 30th and again on June 1st. Referrals must complete the entire school year. So share with your friends...you will be glad you did!

Facts grant & Aid assessment financial aid assistance program

  • IS based on the assessment of financial need from FACTS Grant & Aid
  • Students in K-12 are eligible
  • All students must be registered to qualify, including students placed on a schools website.
  • The application fee is $35 for all applicants
  • Only ONE application per family needs to be filed no matter how many Diocesan Schools your children attend. All registered students must be listed on ONE application.

The deadline for submitting an application for financial aid

is on or before FRIDAY, March 27, 2020.


  • All required supporting documentation must be submitted in order to verify your application status.Required documentation is needed in order to verify your application and must be submitted.
  • Your application must be verified on or before Friday, April 10, 2020 in order to qualify for Diocesan Catholic Schools Tuition Assistance.
  • Applications and changes submitted on or after March 28,2020 WILL NOT be processed or considered for Diocesan Catholic Schools Tuition Assistance. This deadline will be strictly adhered to.
  • Award and denial notifications will be emailed to parents during the week of 4/20/2020.

  • FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Fax Number for supporting documentation 1-866-315-9264 *(obtain a confirmation that your fax was received.)
  • Withdrawal from school on or before 8/31/2020 will be rescinded and returned to the fund for reallocation
  • Transfer* from one school to another after 8/31/2020 awards w/b recalculated
  • Transfer* after 9/1/2020 will stay with the school and be prorated
  • Monthly payments are based on ten month school year Sept -June
  • *financial aid award will not transfer unless the Director of Student Financial Services is notified in writing of the students's transfer by both principals of participating schools.

The 3rd grade food drive is doing AMAZING!
Currently the Kindergarten class is in the lead! Followed by ......

This past weeks blue light special was canned Tuna and Canned Chicken. Thank you for all the cans!

This weeks BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL will be.....

**Blue light special earns your child's class 2pts vs. 1pt for the other non-perishables brought in that day/week.** The class that wins will win a pizza party.

Pet supply drive -grade 4/5/PREK

For Almsgiving this year, the PREK-4, 4th and 5th grades will be participating in a service learning project that will benefit Animal Shelter, Inc. and the BnR's Rock n' Rescue.

Service learning projects integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich learning as well as foster empathy and altruistic behaviors.

The classes will be collecting supplies (please see the image below for supplies needed for each place we will be sending our supplies to) from "Ash Wednesday", February 26th to "Holy Thursday", April 9th. Anything you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Due to the Covid-19 virus is going around, they have decided it is in everyone's best interest to cancel the CYO tournament. Sorry to all our boys but they were very understanding.

Bible Study Group to begin....A great way to get in the spirit of LENT.

Join us Friday mornings at 9 AM for a new 8 week study of Mary, A biblical walk with the Blessed Mother beginning March 20th. During Lent, we will be in the Holy Family of Nazareth church hall, with the exception of good Friday when we will not meet. After lent is over we will move back to Saint Anna church hall, still at 9 AM.


Feel free to let anyone know. The book costs $24.95 and is the only material necessary for the study. Each meeting contains a discussion portion where we go over the questions and answers we have done on our own and then watch a short video together. We always have coffee, fellowship, and snacks as well.

A great way for students to learn about money management.....

They plan to come every other Tuesday unless we are not at school.

Nurses Corner - Important news and updates

The Diocese of Worcester and St. Anna have your child's safety and health in mind.


COVID-19 is a respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) virus, and we are leaning more about it every day. There is currently no vaccine to protect against COVID-19 at this point. The risk today is reported to be low according to the Mass. Dept. of Health.


The best way to prevent infection is to avoid being exposed to the virus that causes it. Stopping transmission of the virus through everyday practices is the best way to keep people healthy. Rest assured, we at St. Anna are doing our best to wipe down doors, railings, light switches and school furniture to reduce the risk of transmission of spreading any viruses. We are utilizing antibacterial soaps and encouraging our students to wash their hands regularly and cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing.


If your child has a cold/stomach /cough, please refrain from returning to school as per our 24 hour school policy noted in the handbook.


To prepare for possible community transmission of COVID-19, St. Anna and local schools are working together should additional precautions need to implemented.


Precautions to help prevent colds and flu can help protect against COVID-19. These sites are updated regularly with the latest guidance regarding accurate data from the scientific community.
