TIGER TALES
10/17/22 - 10/21/22
Fall weather is here!
With dropping temperatures, please remember: NO students should be wearing hooded sweatshirts or shirts. Hoodie sweatshirts are also not allowed on Freestyle Fidays. We highly recommend purchasing the Trinity Lutheran Church and School fleece jacket from Uniform Outfitters, as this jacket can be worn everywhere on campus (except inside the chapel). Non-Trinity jackets are allowed - so long as they do NOT have hoods - however, they must be removed while inside the classrooms. Though our classrooms are warm, some students prefer to keep their jackets on and the TLCS fleece would be the correct option for those students. Thank you for understanding and adhering to our jacket dress code policy.

PEACE CIRCLE
Once a month students in grades 2-12 participate in Peace Circle. This is a time for fellowship, team building, and Christ-centered community building amongst students that is STUDENT-LED by our 11th grade Worship Class (with oversight by Mrs. Owens). Thank you to our staff and students for bringing Peace Circle back to Trinity!
The best way to ride on the swing is with Ms. Jennifer!

CAR LINE SAFETY REMINDERS
Please be aware that there have been a number of unsafe incidents lately.
Do NOT:
1. Cut others in line without staff directives. If a staff has not specifically cleared you to go around another vehicle, do NOT. We are blessed to have a very short car line (10-15 minutes at most) and safety is top priority.
2. Be rude, use profanity, or threaten other drivers. Every driver in the car line is busy and has the common goal of picking up his/her child(ren). Be courteous to each other and to our staff who are doing their best to get your children safely to vehicles in a timely manner.
3. Drop tardy children off in the Welcome Center in the morning without signing them in. Children who arrive earlier than 8 am need to be signed into Before Care in the Life Center.
Thank you for your attention to these protocols and safety measures that are in place to ensure safety for EVERYONE'S children.
MS/HS Students made sure Ms. Kat had a very special day!

The Christian School Difference
We may have Chapel only once a week, but we worship Our Lord at Trinity every day. Not only in daily religion classes, Peace Circles, and Worship class, but also in each of our interactions with friends, teachers, and quiet moments with ourselves. Students here have an opportunity each day to learn a deeper connection to Christ and experience what it actually looks like and feels like to be His follower. It is not just about memorizing verses or reading scripture (though those are two very important steps!) It is about FAITH IN ACTION. How do we APPLY what Christ calls us to do each day in our daily lives? We are so blessed to be in an environment that consistently supports loving our neighbors, repenting when we've done wrong, and granting grace and forgiveness.
Mr. Tirado plays beautiful worship to the lord on his violin. God bless!
