Monday Night Baton
Twirl in a 6-week program that ends with a special recital on 11/18. Routines learned in class will be showcased along with some holiday twirling features. Note: Your baton may be brought to the class or purchased on the first night for $32.

From Champions to College Features to High School Majorettes to Rec Twirlers
The Twirl-M’s Baton Twirling Group of Walled Lake, Michigan has been a staple of Walled Lake Community Education since 1999. During this time, the group has seen well over 1,500 students come through its programs from weekly classes, after school enrichment to summer camps! Directed by Rhonda Muscaro, the group boasts:
- 15 national team championships, including five WL Northern High School Majorette National Championships
- 2015 College Miss Majorette of America
- 2014 Collegiate National Twirling Champion
- 19 college features representing 15 different universities (Michigan State, Western Michigan, Grand Valley State, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, University of Alabama, Ashland, Siena Heights, University of Florida, Eastern Michigan, Bowling Green State, Kentucky. Michigan Tech, Ball State, and Central Michigan)
- 2 “Top Six” National Twirlers each attaining the coveted spot twice
- 4 World Team Members, including a Top 4 World Solo Finalist
- 7 USA Twirling Ambassadors to Peru
- 42 high school majorettes
- Nearly 200 national individual twirling championships
- Nearly 90 Miss Majorettes state and regional titles
Additionally, the group has performed twice for the Detroit Lions, twice for the Detroit Pistons, and at several local community venues such as nursing homes, community college sporting events, and local festivals. They have appeared annually in the WL Memorial Day parade since 2000 (with the exception of no parade years due to Covid).
“This spring and summer marked the return to normal training,” remarked Rhonda Muscaro, the Director of the Twirl-M’s. “Since Covid, we have not had consistent gym space so it was great to get back to our weekly training. We are thankful to so many who have helped us along the way! We hope to see many new faces come and join us in our popular Monday Night Baton Class.”
