The goal of College GO! Week is simple: help Hoosiers of all ages PLAN for college completion and career success.

At RCMS we are celebrating through a variety of exploration activities, dress up days, giveaways, contests, and opportunities to meet professionals who have been to college.

College Night for Parents AND students

Monday, Sep. 23rd, 6-8:15pm

1106 Bomber Boulevard

Rensselaer, IN

Students and their families are invited to a FREE Spaghetti dinner with drinks and dessert at RCMS from 6-7 and stay from 7:00 - 8:00 to meet professionals and learn about college admissions, professional careers, college sports, and ROTC

Theme Dress: Geek Out Day

Remember how YouTube had GeekWeek, celebrating all things nerd and geek? Today is the day you dress celebrating whatever you find awesome. If you love to read, show something about books or reading in your outfit. Enjoy science? How about a homemade “Science is Awesome" T-Shirt? Legos? Football? Want to celebrate the historical suspenders-and-glasses nerd? That’s ok too. Going to college is about connecting what you Love to your future career. Start College Go Week off by showing what you love. Prizes given spontaneously at lunches to good outfits

Free Doughnut Breakfast for winning Advisory Class

Theme Dress: Dress for success

Lunch: Career Lunch! Rensselaer Professionals come in during lunches to talk about their careers and how they got to where they are!

Lunch: The importance of a college degree

Theme Dress: Wear college gear

Elective Classes: Talk to a college professor from somewhere in the United States via Skype or in person. Student have the opportunity to submit questions in the main office that will be asked directly to the professors.

Lunch: College Facts trivia (with prizes)

Friday September 27

Theme Dress: Dress for your first day of college

If your first day of college were today, what would you wear?

Lunch: Tailgate party! St. Joseph's Basketball coach Tom Church and some of his players will be here to hang out with students and talk about college over lunch and hoops.
