Adventures in STEM
Interested in applying for the STEM Academies for the 2020-21 School Year?
Students will participate in several STEM related activities and investigations in this class. Students can also participate in challenges such a bridge building and wind turbines. This is a engaging hands-on classroom with real-world application!
Students get to explore their artistic abilities in art as well as learn about different artistic styles and artists. Students will have an opportunity to enter art competitions and display their artwork in the building.
Students learn a variety of musical genres in choir. They will perform throughout the school year. Students have the opportunity to sing as a group, duets, and solos.
All students take PE. Students do a variety of exercises, games, and activities that require physical movement. They also learn the rudimentary rules for games such as basketball.
Students use computers in technology class, They also utilize program such as Schoology, Google products, Microsoft products, BrainPop, and a variety of other products to help them navigate the 21st century world we live in.
Youngblood offers a variety of after-school sports clubs throughout the school year. Students must try-out for these clubs. We have volleyball, soccer, basketball, football, cheer, dance, and step teams.
We not only offer Sports Clubs, but a variety of clubs that fit a multitude of students' interests. These clubs can change year to year, as sponsors can change. Here are some of the clubs we offered this school year:

- WPBN (Wildcat Pride Broadcasting Network)

Material Return and Personal Items Pick-Up Schedule
We have missed you! When we left for spring break, we did not realize that it would be for such a long time. As this unique school year comes to a close, we have to schedule end of the year business such as returning of library books, instruments, and student personal items.
Teachers will be contacting parents in regards to your child's personal items.
In order to do this in a manageable and orderly manner, please follow the schedule below. Each academy is scheduled for a specific time and day.
- Blue/Yellow students - May 11 - 8:20 - 4:20
- Green/Orange students - May 12 - 8:20 - 4:20
- Purple/Red students - May 13 - 8:20 - 4:20
- Gold students - May 14 - 8:20 - 4:20
- All Academies- May 16- 8:30-5:00 (Final Opportunity)
