Substitute Plans
Don't forget more info in last week's Smore!
- These are due by September 7, 2020. We will begin making sure we can find them in Canvas on September 8th.
Seating charts:
Don't forget, more info in last week's Smore!
- You must create seating charts for the cafeteria and classroom.
- These are due and need to be posted in your classroom by September 7, 2020 using your current list of students who are attending F2F.
Lesson Plans
August 31st Week
- You will need to start on the plans themselves focusing on your I Do, We Do, You Dos, planning specific asynchronous activities/lessons for students, and ensuring you are ready to go for Itime groups
- iTime information does not need to go on the lesson plans right now but it's always good practice
- Below is a template that Jana found and edited for Mrs. Law and Mrs. McCreary. You are welcome to use it or something like it. This will continue to help students plan out their day and help parents know what students should be working on each day. On your own activities could also include any assignments you've given them in core content to finish on their own. These need to be posted either for the week or daily for students...just as you would in your classrooms on the board. You'll find this example in the lesson plan folder as well.
September 7th Week
- Combine it all together as we start Face to Face Instruction!
Specials This Week
Here is how Specials will work the next three weeks.
Week 4

Thursday-Library
Inter-ST Curriculum Update....news from Jana
- There is a misconception going around that F2F students will not be able to use manipulatives.
- They can, but each student will need a baggie that contains items for their use, and will not be shared. If you need help bagging supplies please let Jennifer, secretary, know. We have LOTS of people that can help with this.
- There are no changes planned to the CBA calendar. Tests will happen as currently scheduled.
- Pandemic reviews for math should start when students return F2F and are intended as extra mini-lessons and stations. They are not part of the curriculum.
Updates from Selena...

Shout Outs!
April Parker - Has embraced this school year! New class-room, no problem - Completely ready for students to return whenever that may be. New technology - no problem. Dove right in and is creating instructional videos to go with the learning activities. New grade level: No problem!
April Parker - She has contributed Canvas tips and ideas, already started previewing the Sentence Patterning Chart prior to it being in the lessons, gladly met with her former kinders in Mrs. Corley´s class one day, preparing the lesson, and completed her first two writing modules the first day they were open.
Ines Koteski - She is a new teacher but is available to help with what she knows. She is very attentive and open-minded which is especially important under these circumstances! Lots of teachers are, but she is rocking her new role.
Reianna Law - she has gone above and beyond in not only learning Canvas herself, but teaching her teammates as well. She has been so gracious in helping anyone who has a problem not only in school, but also after hours. She has been flexible and willing to make changes and try new things. I think her attitude toward learning new things has been a great example for our staff and students.
Tessa Sharafat -she has been proactive in trying to establish communication and build relationships with the parents of her students.
