Cougar Student Announcements will be posted every Friday on students' Schoology pages and on our website. The Cougar Newsletter, sent out by LSHS Administration, will come out quarterly. Parents/Guardians: If you would like to be added to the Cougar Student Announcement mailing list: please email lshsannouncements@isd194.org with 'Subscribe' as the subject line.

  • Lakeville South School Calendar Events, breaks, testing, etc. LSHS Calendar

  • Reminder Students! An important iPad update is required on your Lakeville Area Schools device to patch a recently discovered security flaw in the software. This update was pushed to student iPads that had not been updated yesterday at 4 p.m. Please take a moment to make sure that your iPad is updated. If it isn't, please follow these instructions to update your iPad to the 16.6.1 operating system. This update will take approximately 15 minutes. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

  • NEW iPad Device Protection Plan Students received an upgraded iPad at the beginning of the 2023-24 school year to support their learning. Lakeville Area Schools is offering a new optional device protection plan for district-issued iPads as part of our 1:1 student learning initiative. Annual Cost: $25 per student. Reduced price options are available based on Educational Benefit Status. Coverage begins upon receipt of the payment. To sign up and for more information, please visit: Device Protection Plan.

                              • Future 101: Planning for Life After High School Join us for Future 101 on Monday, October 2 at Lakeville South High School. This event, put on by Lakeville Chamber of Commerce and Tourism and Lakeville Area Schools, is for families with students in grades 8-12. We will have refreshments, a resource fair and post-high school planning workshops. FREE - No registration required. 5:30-6 p.m. - Refreshments and resource fair. 6:00-7:45 p.m. - Workshops (chose three) 7:45 p.m. - Resource fair and refreshments. The registration deadline for the test is Wednesday, October 4. If you are interested in taking this test, go to your Campus Portal and follow the instructions on how to register and pay for the test. ASU is a place where all Asian American students can come together to celebrate their culture and stand up against Asian hate/ discrimination.                               • Mock Trial. Very similar to real trials - argue a case against other schools in front of a judge. A fun way to act, debate, challenge your self and compete as part of a team. New member meeting: Wednesday, Oct. 4 @ 3:00 p.m. in Ms. Hood's room C306.
