Activating Transformative Leaders in Communities and Cities

Q Commons Sacramento - "Create a Better Future"

Q Commons. The Q stands for questions. With a no topic is off limits approach, experts seek to help you navigate the complex intersection of faith and 21st century culture. Commons is the idea that there can be a public space where we can go after these challenging ideas and have the conversations that result in thoughtful growth and change. Q Commons is designed to give you the knowledge and approach to better engage difficult conversations. Today, we reveal our first local speaker. Dena Davidson will be speaking directly about that approach and posture that will allow you to face the most daunting questions and courageously engage with curiosity, honesty and an ability to think well and advance good.

Table Sponsors Make Q Commons Happen - Interested?

Every local venue for Q Commons has to find their way of funding the event. In Sacramento, that means table sponsorship. You or your organization can sponsor a table for $500 and invite seven people to join you for a great night learning and growing together. Join Jesus Culture, KLOVE, The Masters Program and others in helping make Q Commons possible. To sponsor a table, contact Merisa Moy at

Learn More About Our Q Commons Local Speaker

We are excited to have Dena Davidson as one of our guest speakers this year. Here's a little bit about her topic “We Can Stop being Afraid of Tough Questions” in her own words.

"We have people paralyzed to speak up and talk about the gospel. Why? Because of tough questions they feel like they won't be able to answer like what they believe about gay people or why God sends people to hell. In my work with college students and in apologetics, I’ve found that our posture and approach with people as they ask these tough questions can unlock great conversations and re-frame searching for answers that satisfy the hear and mind. I look forward to sharing what I have discovered with the curious and thoughtful Q Commons gathering."

Make sure you join us to hear the full talk!
