Principal's Note
Parents, Families, Guardians:
The School District of Waukesha has canceled face to face classes for students Monday, March 16-March 20, 2020. No students will be allowed to report to school from March 16-March 20, 2020. Students should expect virtual learning from home to occur starting on Wednesday, March 18th and continue through March 20th. ALL students K-5 were sent home with a learning device. This ipad is expected to return when we return to school in the same condition it is being sent home, your help in teaching responsibility with this technology is appreciated.
If you do not have internet access from home, we will have packets of work available for pick up on Tuesday between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:00PM.
If your child was absent today, his/her ipad will be available for pick up on Tuesday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Spring break is the week of March 23rd. We will not have virtual learning during this scheduled break. Before classes resume on March 30th, the School District of Waukesha will have additional information as to how instruction and attendance will be handled beginning March 30, 2020.
If you had a family teacher conference set up for March 19th, we will continue with phone calls home, teachers will communicate with parents accordingly. Please continue to watch your ClassDojo for updates! Also, be sure to take care of yourself! We wish you all health and well-being and will miss your kids!
Thank you for your support and for choosing Whittier. We are honored to work with your children everyday.
