Finding Help for Alcohol, Tobacco, and Substance Abuse

Locating Available Help for Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Substances Abuse

A hotline is immediate phone support by a trained individual. There may be multiple reasons to contact one of these support lines (like dealing with an addiction to smoking, alcohol or substance abuse). They can contact you to connect you with further help (like referring you to local recovery facilities) for your particular needs. Contacting a hotline is one of the first steps in recovery.

People who contact hotlines are more likely to be able to quit smoking/break their alcohol or substance addiction than people who try on their own.
