Tinkergarten Information - Free Trial Class for Bright Beginnings families!

Tinkergarten is a relatively new program that provides high-quality early childhood learning in the healthiest classroom of all—the outdoors. Families connect with trained leaders in their local community for play-based kids classes that help develop core life skills, all while having fun! It's an educational play-based class for kids ages 18 months to 8 years old and their caregiver in an outdoor setting. It brings families together in a natural place in their community where kids are encouraged to explore nature and participate in open-ended play, solving problems or participating in creative activities with “nature treasures” they find. Classes will be at North Park in Springboro (starting this Summer). It will be taught by Anne Fries, who is graciously offering a free trial class for Bright Beginnings families on Sunday, June 3rd from 3:30 - 4:45 p.m. The link for the exclusive Bright Beginnings trial class is You must create an account through, agree to the terms and conditions, and register for the class online.

Anne Fries - Springboro Tinkergarten leader

I believe that kids are awesome, curious people that have a lot to offer this world if we just listen. Kids are just bursting with ideas and fun, and I believe that spending time outdoors brings this side of them to life. I have 13 years of teaching experience in the elementary education field and also helped run an outdoor Pioneer Life day camp for several summers. Additionally, I was part of a play based learning research project through the Ohio State University. I recently left the classroom to be a stay at home mom to my two young boys. I love playing outside with my family, hiking, yoga, reading and sewing. I am so looking forward to meeting you and your families and playing and learning alongside you at Tinkergarten!
