It's NOMINATIONS Season!

Are you familiar with your bylaws and what they have to say about nominations and elections? You want to check them TODAY to see what they tell you about:
  • WHEN do you have to select your Nominations Committee
  • WHO should make up your Nominations Committee
  • HOW you need to select your Nominations Committee
  • WHEN does your slate of nominees need to be presented
  • WHEN are your elections held

Your BYLAWS will answer all of these questions. MANY UNITS WILL NEED TO PRESENT THEIR NOMINATIONS IN MARCH!! Don't miss this important task - set your Unit up for future success NOW!


Your Liaison is available and happy to assist you if you have any questions.

High School PTSA Voter Registration Drives

Each of the three high school PTSAs held a voter registration drive in the beginning of February. Council Legislative chair John Grezbik coordinated with both the Livonia and Westland City Clerks offices to spend one lunch hour at each of the three high schools. We are proud to report that 287 students took advantage of this opportunity to register to vote! Way to go PTSA! Thank you Susan Nash, Livonia City Clerk and Richard LeBlanc, Westland City Clerk for making this possible.

Livonia Culinary Tour

The Livonia Public Schools Hospitality Management program is hosting the:

Livonia Culinary Tour on Sunday March 13, 2016 from 1 to 4 pm.

This event will celebrate food while benefiting the LPS program. Patrons can sample food, speak with chefs and bid on items in the silent auction. Proceeds benefit the Livonia Culinary Program and Chef Chuck Sansone.

Tickets are available for $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

MI PTA Euchre PARTY!

Do you like to play euchre? Never played, but interested in learning? Then join the MI PTA this March 19 in Southfield for an evening of euchre, fun and networking! Proceeds will support MI PTA programs. Snacks and prizes will be provided. Can we send the largest group?
