iPad updates -IMPORTANT MESSAGE
Staff ,
Please do not update your iPads to IOS 11.
It will not work with the current version of Airserver. We will need time to update your computers with the newest version. Airserver is the software program used to display your iPad screen to the projector.
It will automatically remove old 32 bit apps from your devices. These older apps will no long work moving forward until the developers update their programming.
We will notify staff when updates can be done. Also we do not want students to run this update either. You cannot undo this...
Thank you.

Principal Meihak,
My company, Hype Socks, has recently generated interest from schools in Faribault. I’m reaching out to encourage you to consider a custom sock order for Faribault Middle as these socks are proven to be a successful fundraiser.
At Hype Socks, we incorporate your logo, color scheme, and text, on our high-quality performance socks. Socks are the trendiest way to show school pride, to complete athletic uniforms, or fundraise. We have our own hosiery mill in the United States, which gives us the quickest turn-around time in the industry. (Only 2-4 weeks!)
To see a free visual example for Faribault Middle and receive a discounted price quote, please respond directly to this email, or give me a call with your color scheme, logo, and any customizations desired.
Also, please let me know if I should send a sample pair to:

Jared@hypesocks.comKeeping the positive
It is important to keep in mind that our students look to each and everyone one of us to gage the feelings in the classrooms. Please be sure to keep the positives at the forefront and never let your students feel your frustrations. When things are "wacky" and not running as well as hoped - your positive reactions and assurances will keep the students focused and buying into the connectedness that we are all working so hard on.
Thank you for keeping the positive and all the extra efforts you have put in these first few weeks.

Homecoming parade supervisors
Homecoming is right around the corner and plans are in the works to fire the students up for a school spirit filled week. Remember that our Falcon Fun Friday will take place on Homecoming Friday, September 29th.
Students will once again be dismissed to attend the Falcon Parade. If you wish to serve as a supervisor for the parade, please let me know.
Staff meetings / share out:
Learn from the very best.
At our monthly staff meetings we will be taking time to share out successes from your classrooms. If you are trying a new strategy, looking for a partner to experiment with a new project, or simply have a story to share, please let me know and we will set up a schedule to present at the staff meetings
Courteous Parking Arrangements (aka = No Parking pre-PBIS)
With heavy traffic expected on election day (November 7th) staff is asked to park in the soccer complex parking lot. Building and Grounds have promised to remove the snow for easier movement (and if there is snow already on November 7th - my spot in the back will be available as I will be at home crying.)
Thanks for your flexibility and cooperation.
