Yearbook Orders

Place your yearbook order soon! The cost is $25.00 per yearbook. You can order online or pick up an order form in the main office.

January 28 personalization and accessory end date.

ADL Clubs

  • Art Club will be meeting on Fridays from 3:15-4:30 in the art room.
  • D&D club will be meeting on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 in room C10.
  • Geo Bee Club will be meeting on Mondays, 3:15-4 PM, in room C6.
  • Math Counts will be meeting on Mondays from 3:20 to 4:00 in room B16.
  • Pride Club will be meeting on Fridays from 3:15-4:00 in the Band Room.
  • Skull and Cross Stitch Club will be meeting on Thursdays from 3:15-4:15 in the art room.
  • Yearbook Club will be meeting on Mondays from 3:30-4:30 in the conference room.

Linking Engineering to Life Program

BioMed is an image-busting intro to engineering for 6th -8th grade girls and non-binary youth that builds confidence, creativity, and courage. Participants will meet regularly for 10 weeks to imagine and create solutions to real life design challenges, be inspired by real women engineers, and connect with like-minded peers in a supportive, small group setting while being mentored by UVM engineering students. We'll be focusing on Biomedical Engineering this time around!

Seeking Village Resident Help: Future Manager Search

The Village of Essex Junction Trustees are seeking the assistance of Village residents to guide the recruitment and hiring process of the future City Manager. The future manager will be the head of the City government, leading the day-to-day operations and hiring and supervising personnel. The Trustees would like to appoint a diverse committee of up to 9 people, to develop a timeline and strategy for the successful recruitment and hiring of the manager. The Committee shall seek and provide input opportunities for the general public, Trustees, staff, and department heads throughout the process so the hiring reflects what constituents want and believe the manager should possess. The intention is to gather a wide variety of voices from throughout our community, including marginalized populations. The Committee is planning the recruitment and hiring process, and not necessarily the hiring committee. Committee member traits and experiences that would be beneficial, but are not necessary, include: HR recruitment and hiring experience, general government service or knowledge, experience in public engagement strategies, writing, organizing, logistics planning, and/or if you are simply interested in helping to create the new City of Essex Junction and want to contribute to your community.

The Trustees hope to have a variety of committee members who represent different sectors of the community. Youth are welcome as well and encouraged to apply. Committee members will be compensated $50 per meeting. The committee’s role is anticipated to be March through August. Meeting day, time, and frequency will be determined once the committee is formed, but is anticipated to be once every two to three weeks early in the process, and less as things progress. To be considered, please send an e-mail of interest that states your name, address, why you are interested in joining the committee, and what experiences, skills, knowledge, or characteristics you have that you think will make you a valuable resource and committee member. Families Eligible for Monthly Internet Service Discount

Eligibility for Monthly Internet Service Discount

Households that are eligible for free or reduced meals under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or the School Breakfast Program (SBP) during the 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and/or the 2021-2022 school year are eligible for the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB Program). The EBB Program is a temporary federal program to help eligible households pay for internet service during the pandemic. The EBB Program provides a monthly discount of not more than $50 per month on broadband service and associated equipment (for example, a modem) for eligible households and not more than $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. If the participating household chooses an eligible plan that costs $50/month or less, the household will receive that service for free, at least until the EBB Program ends.
